WHO IS CINTEX WIRELESS?

Cintex Wireless is a lifeline ETC (eligible telecommunications carrier), one of the leading Lifeline Service providers in Arkansas, Maryland, Rhode Island, Maine and West Virginia. Cintex Wireless is a worry-free way to stay connected with family, school, medical services, and employers. Cintex Wireless provides a free smartphone, along with free phone service each month to eligible low-income residents in Arkansas, Maryland, Rhode Island, Maine and West Virginia. Low-cost plans with more minutes and data are also available as well as low international rates to over 80 countries through SFone Wireless. There are no bills, long-term contracts, or activation fees

To participate in the Cintex Wireless service, certain eligibility requirements must be met, which are set by each State where the service is provided. These requirements are based on a person’s participation in State or Federal Support Programs, or by meeting the Income Poverty Guidelines as defined by the U.S. Government. Cintex Wireless service is limited to one person per household.

WHAT IS LIFELINE?

Lifeline Assistance is a federal government program supported by the Universal Service Fund. While the service is subsidized by the government, the cell phones are provided by Cintex Wireless. Enrollment is available to individuals who qualify based on federal or state-specific eligibility criteria. The goal of the Lifeline program is to ensure that qualifying low-income households have access to basic telecommunication services and we believe in offering quality service, hassle free, in order to keep everyone connected without the need for a contract or credit check. WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

The Lifeline Assistance program offers one wireless account per household. Separate households that live at the same address are eligible, including residents of nursing homes. Residents with temporary addresses are also eligible. You may qualify if you participate in certain public assistance programs, such as Medicaid or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). You may also qualify based on your household income. In order to become a Cintex Wireless subscriber, you must provide proof of program participation or proof of income. Currently, the offer is limited to eligible customers residing in the State of Arkansas, Maryland, Rhode Island, Maine and West Virginia.
